I have set up a project to look at progressive parties and other organisations in different countries and to identify and resolve obstacles to closer working across borders

The first question is whether people who are interested in, are involved in, or work for progresive parties and or others organisations feel that there is enough cross border working at a high level.

I would be interested in views.

Could you go into more depth on your project? Are you talking about direct company to company, Country to Country or personal sites and organizations via the internet, or all of the above?

How are you doing this research? What parameters are you using? What outcome are you gearing this all towards?

Good questions all.

The project is about political parties (and similar organisations) which claim to have an interest in shaping, influencing or learning from international events.

The question is whether these claims can be substantiated. Do those political parties and organisations actually do seek opportunities to shape, influence or learn from international events.

The first steps are to refine the issues, then undertake a literature search and then carry out surveys.

As to the outcome. Its a while away yet

I am still trying to understand the premiss here. You mention international events... as in a historical context or are you talking about reactionary actions in regard to current events?

Plainly put,

Are you speaking about using historical data compilation and progression constructs in order to monitor the international populations on a true global scale?

Or are you speaking in more direct terms like with USAID, Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Global Vision and the World Bank groups Community Empowerment and Social Inclusion (CESI), etc?
