I was inspired by the UFC advertisements for NOS energy drink, it has electroids (or something like that) or as they say in the movie Idiocracy, "it has electrolytes".

It has electrolytes. They are tiny ionic molecules also known as salts. They are useful if you sweat a lot. Don't forget your ancestors were ocean dwellers and you require salt water to survive.
