That's not something I ever expected to write.
The McCarthy era was just 3 guys. McCarthy was the front man, Roy Cohn was the brains of the group. Nixon was just along for the ride, he wanted the publicity.
It's hard to describe the man without vitriol. He was nasty, amoral, and more than a little crazy.
He did a lot of damage.
