I was wondering here who here has read Tolstoy's 'War and Peace'? I am currently halfway finished it, and so far its quite good; the battle visualizations are excellent and the story is of the same quality.
Also to add to my question I was wondering what you thought or think about it.

I have it on my bookshelf, but I haven't dared to read it yet.

I found Anna Karenina a bit bland. It seemed nothing more than a social commentary...

I know. The beginning chapter almost threw me off, it was quite boring the whole party thing. I'm on around pg 550ish.
But YEddi what do you think of it so far?
