Does anyone know if Putin went ahead and sold the NK's the T-90's which are supposed to be equal if not better to our Abrams?

I don't think so - the latest tank North Korea has, as far as I know is a T-72, and that was only a test model for evaluation purposes. They did sell several hundred T-90's to India recently. The T-90 is not really "better" than the Abrams, though it does have a bigger caliber gun. It's certainly formidable. In any case I don't think tanks are going to win any war in Korea as the terrain is too restrictive. DPRK forces are infantry and artillery heavy for that reason - tanks are confined to the roads over there.
