Good speech. I'm opposed to the embargo, and I sure wish the government in Washington would shove their bureaucrats who enforce this type of move into a garbage can.

But I also see a need for these Cuban officials to be tried and jailed for being such hijos de puta. They are a bunch of neo-fascist thieves who hang on to power and want to enjoy their perks and sinecures no matter what. They realize their "communist system" is hogwash, are turning the country into capitalist heaven for multinationals, and meanwhile the people get to live long miserable lives, slaves of a system which treats them as if they were properties of the state.

Ya, social critic. I know Fidel from head to foot. You cannot intimidate the man especially if he 'has the right of way.' Socialismo o muerte. So many members of CPUSA and CPCanada who were either mandhandled or summarily dismissed from work due to their allegiance to Fidel. The man is the only one who stands up against US hegemony especially if they are now the number 1 superpower in the world...

USB, there you go again too....Fidel is retired, remember? Raul is in charge, even if Fidel keeps making noise in the background and slows him down as he moves towards neo-fascist capitalism. Fidel, alas for you, is just a dinosaur caught inside a human body. Raul is the modern type, he's following the path established by the Chinese as he moves the system full circle.

You know, Cubans can use help from people like you. Agitators who defend workers' right and hate to see national wealth stolen by a few oligarchs to be sold to foreigners. Move to Cuba, and start agitating, because they'll need labor unions, and they'll need somebody to teach them to revolt and overthrow that scum which today call themselves "Cuba's Communist Party".
