Notes on Forum Rule two:
This post is not exhaustive.
- The requirement to "Remain courteous and respectful" means that the following are forum rules violations:
- Modifying or intentionally misspelling members' user-names in quotes or elsewhere, other than legitimate abbreviation or initialism.
- To directly call another member a "liar", say "you are lying", "that is a lie" etc. As in Britain's House of Commons, it is not permissible here. If you wish to accuse another member of making an intentionally false statement then get creative with your English, but to use the word "liar" is just plain rude and can never be courteous and respectful as the forum rules require.
- To plainly state "I hate you", "I don't like you", "I think you're full of s***" or similar. Again, it is rude and only serves to sour what might otherwise be cordial discourse.
