My name is Marcus and I'm a member of the left party here in Sweden. ( Left Party Homepage ) I'm 23 years old and I'm currently unemployed Other interests beside politics are music, writing poetry, sketching, partying and computers Well I hope I can contribute something meaningful here!

I want to know stuff about Swedish politics! Please feel free to post about Sweden in whatever forum is appropriate, Europe or Socialism.

Unfortunately the english version of the Left Party's page is only a thing about EMU. I'm thinking it's not about large flightless birds?

EMU: European Monetary Union. Swedish people voted against it, despite the manipulation attempts by the monopoly capital and their political servants (foremostly the right and the social democrats). Finnish people weren't even asked, and now it has also been said that most propably the Finnish people ain't going to be asked about accepting the EU constitution either. But the opposition of Swedish people to EMU is good for the anti-constitution movement aswell.

Sweden's Left Party is clearly more leftist than Finland's "Left Alliance" which is neither left nor an alliance. But of course, I'd vote for the communists if I was Swedish.

Well I'm a socialist rather than communist but I do think that communism is a great ideology but I've given up on humanity becasue mankind is way to egoistic.
