You seem to believe the region is somehow united against Israel. In reality, neither Egypt, Jordan, Morocco nor the UAE have cut diplomatic relations with Israel.

They would demand this to be part of a road map for reaching a two-state solution, which is an entirely reasonable demand. It's a quid pro quo, and a reasonable one.

Of course, Iran and its bloc would be totally against it, but they wouldn't be able to stop it.

The Sunni-Shia conflict is far more important than whatever happens with Israel/Palestine.

Egypt doesn't support Israel on this, Jordan is backing South Africa's cast at the ICJ, Morocco doesn't border any of the countries in question/is in a different region, UAE is indeed one of the few US aligned countries but doesn't back Israel.

I don't see why you think any of the countries in question, let alone the rest of the region would back a US troop presence. It's just a fantasy to believe that this would happen.

Morocco is still a player in the MENA region.

Has Jordan filed anything at all? If it doesn't, then it's just the usual Arab rhetoric, given South Africa put them in a hard spot.

Egypt has gone as far as to deny entry to Hamas members.

Another reason why the Arabs may want the US to be present is that Israel would not launch any major attacks in Gaza without consulting with the US first if there are American boots on the ground.

Yet there are reports of these discussions, which are evidently not going to be done in public.

And the time to make a decision is approaching, Israel announced it destroyed Hamas' military infrastructure in Gaza City (north of Wadi Gaza) and that it will begin to gradually scale its military operations down.
