Funny because thats exactly what the west, which means mainly the USA but certainly also the ever happily following UK, wanted to inflict on Russia by organizing a coup d'etat in Ukraine in 2014 and then sending a ton of weapons, building extensive fortifications in the east of the country, and giving a lot of soldier training to the country, all the while Ukraines relations, which have been good with Russia before 2014, turned ever more aggressive, with Ukraine wanting to join NATO and get nuclear weapons, nevermind slaughter the Donbas and brutally conquering Crimea despite the later clearly not interested at all.

I think psychologists call such a thing "reflection". You claim the other side for what YOU are doing.

Which by the way has been a general pattern of western propaganda in this conflict throughout. Lack of ammunition, poor training - especially in the first year, whatever problems the ukrainians in this war ever had was always blamed on the russians. It was really funny how unimaginative western propaganda was.

The only area of war in which the west is superior to Russia is propaganda. Unfortunately propaganda only works on your own population. And even there only on those that lack the time to get a second opinion.

I believe it's called "projection" when a propagandists covers his crimes by "projecting" them onto a scapegoat "other."

Examples

Reality
Projection

2014 unprovoked coup in Ukraine by Western sponsors
Russia's unproked invasion of Ukraine

Israel attempts a final genocide of Palestine
Lobbyists investigate calls for a genocide of Jews on campuses

Israel was founded by Jewish terror gangs who immediately committed ethnic-cleansing
Hamas is a terrorist organization

Big Pharma controls media and government through advertising and sponsorhip
Vaccine critics are working for Russia or China (or Hamas?)

The USA had a problem with its merciless Indian savages (Declaration of Independence)
The USA was created through mass murder sustained by racism

Projection definition

Projection as a political weapon (propaganda weapon)
