So it turns out Trump has even more govt. documents. After roughly a year of jerking Justice around, it's time for obstruction charges.

Obstruction can get you 20 years. Stealing government documents can get you more than that.

After the midterms, I expect the Orange One will be charged, arrested, and convicted. The Georgia case is a slam dunk. The NY case is currently in civil court, but the criminal side looks like they are coming out of their coma. There should eventually be an insurrection case..

Looks like a lot of people will be yelling dibs...

There are issues behind the issues.. take climate change and the recent hurricane in Florida. We allow building where disasters happen, and not just in Florida. You can make the buildings stronger, but the cost in a world with climate change is going to keep going up until we just can't. The cost will be excessive, but spending trillions for disaster after disaster where the ocean is just going to claim it permanently.. that's a level of dumb below what we usually accept.

Most of our infrastructure will have to be designed to deal with climate change. Flood, fire, freezing in Texas, this is going from really bad towards holy shit. Everybody knows it, even the Deniers. Yet we don't even talk about it.

Back in the 90s, the Pentagon did study after study about how things were going to change. A lot of them were about climate change adding to the general chaos humans create. Guess what, it's started. Some of you will want to ignore it. Putin should be an object lesson on that.
