And Mr. cow, I must say that normally I find you to be on my side in things, but on this your position is muddling. You think we should ignore breaches of the proper execution of our plan of government because of the likes of Jerry Falwell getting angry? I'm not sure which is more futile: fighting the good fight at a 0% success probibility, or tip-toeing around when you're a leftist to make sure you don't upset people like Jerry Falwell.

What I'm saying is don't make mountains of molehills. Pick your fights.

And I think that potentially mobilizing the base of the opposition is a practical political consideration, especially when the reward for a potential victory is very small if not non-existent.
