Look at the body language of the leaders. You can see that we think politicians must be the most charismatic self-confident people who are not in the least awkward. When we see Medvedev, Nazarbaev and Obama together you can analyse their body language is betraying what they are really thinking and feeling. In particular it seems Nazarbaev is especially uncomfortable and does not even want to look at Obama, seems more comfortable with Medvedev. Also Obama is always doing things like gesturing to people and touching, his style is very different. At the end he says "he doesn't know what's going on", very strange for a politician to say to another in public.
