I just finished watching a movie called Peace, Propaganda & the Promised Land. It's a documentary about how the Israeli-Palestinian issue is covered in the U.S. media. It mentions things like what's considered newsworthy and what isn't, and how the language is used. Something interesting it also talks about is the Camp David Summit and how the U.S. media handled it.

It's an excellent film I think. I watched it some time last year when someone posted it on PoFo. It's a quite systematic analysis of how news are filtered by both visiable (e.g. lobbies) and invisiable (e.g. self-censorship) forces. And the analysis from people like the guy from FAIR, Chomsky and Fisk give the film a lot of credibility.
