Quite a damning topic title but I think it's safe to say that the current events in Israel is popular uprising by the Palestinians. This has been brewing since last Summer ever since the murder of the three Jewish teens and revenge murder of the Arab kid who was burned alive triggering the Gaza conflict. Violent attacks against Israelis have been occuring daily. A few have been killed from attacks with knives, two were murdered in their car by Hamas operatives.

Protests have even occured within Israel by its Arab citizens in Arab towns/cities.

Ynet wrote:Turbulent day as Palestinian storm continues

Tensions around the country remain on knife's edge, with violence erupting in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Jaffa. About 50 Palestinians were wounded, as well as several Israelis, including a baby girl.

Tensions remained on a knife's edge Tuesday as violent clashes wounded at least 50 Palestinians, 3 IDF soldiers, 3 police officers, and a baby girl.

Three police officers were lightly wounded by rocks thrown Tuesday night by masked Palestinians during clashes that erupted in Israel's centrally-located city of Jaffa, just kilometers south of Tel Aviv.

The violence came as an Arab protest against Israeli policy on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem got out of control and two of the rioters were arrested. Police said the protest was held without the proper licenses.

A bus and vehicle were also damaged by the rock throwers. It is the first time clashes have reached central Israel since a wave of violence began recently in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

The latter's Shuafat neighborhood was the scene of particularly dramatic violence, near the mourning tent put up by the family of Fadi Aloun, who stabbed 15-year-old Moshe Malka overnight between Saturday and Sunday.

Jerusalem police detectives came to the area in order to arrest a stone-thrower, and were immediately surrounded by locals, who tried to prevent them from executing the arrest. A border police force that was close by was called in, and assisted the officers with the arrest.

Aloun, a 19-year-old from Issawiya, stabbed the teenager Malka at the juncture of Hanevi'im and Kheil ha-Handasa streets in Jerusalem. He then fled toward Bar Lev Road, where he was shot and killed by police officers who noticed the knife in his hand.

Violence also erupted Tuesday at the Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem, when Palestinians threw stones at police and border police forces. One border police soldier was lightly wounded by a stone thrown by Palestinians.

Incidents of stone-throwing at police also occurred Tuesday afternoon at the Beit Hanina neighborhood in northern East Jerusalem. They were dispersed after a short time and no one was hurt.

In a seperate incident, dozens of Palestinian teenagers and children threw stones and Molotov cocktails from the Jilazoun area in the West Bank towards the settlement of Beit El, and at nearby vehicles. An IDF soldier arrested one of them.

A baby girl was lightly wounded when the vehicle she was in was hit by a stone near the settlement Eli in the West Bank. She was treated at the scene.

Severe violence erupted near the Israeli Civil Administration building in the Mateh Binyamin regional Council and near Ma'ale Labone.

Coordination with Palestinian security forces is still in effect, but the situation is making work difficult. The IDF, meanwhile, also has to contend with Jewish rioters, whom security forces have dubbed as showing similar behavioral patterns to Palestinian rioters, such as stone-throwing and forcing drivers out of their cars.

Twelve Jewish Israelis were arrested due to these activities.

The Jerusalem Police Department also summoned several merchants and passers by who were in the area during the stabbing attack in which Aharon Bennett and Rabbi Nahmia Lavi were murdered, and Bennett's wife, Adele, and their son were wounded.

Adele said that not only did those present not help her, they cursed her and spat at her while the murderer's knife was still in her body. These individuals were identified via security camera footage and police said they would be investigated for failing to prevent a crime. The possibility of ordering the closing of the businesses belonging to the merchants among the suspects is also being examined.

Not really much to say. I just understand how any country would allow treacherous behavior by their own citizens calling for the liberation of Palestine. I say those people should be expelled from the country, no matter how native they are.

Well it needs to happen sooner or later. Might as well do it now.

They will never accept the jewish state anyway. They have said they wont even if you give them ALL the land AND right to return.

Hense, its all a waste of time. Kick them out.

I'm not proposing this but I don't understand how a country would have as its citizens people who want its destruction. It's not a matter of free speech but security.

Ynet wrote:Man killed after stabbing soldier, snatching his rifle

The assailant, whom police believe was an Arab, was killed in a firefight that ensued in the southern town of Kiryat Gat; the soldier was lightly injured.
Ynetnews

A man was killed by Kiryat Gat police on Wednesday after he stabbed a soldier and snatched his rifle before running for shelter in a nearby building.

The soldier was lightly wounded after the assailant, who according to police was an Arab, engaged him after getting off a bus.

Police were rushe to the scene and the assialant was killed in a firefight that ensued.

The attack in the southern city is the third in the space of a few hours, preceded by a rock ambush in the West Bank and a stabbing attack in the Jerusalem's Old City.

"An intail investigation shows that the suspect got off the bus in Kiryat Gat, saw the soldier, and stole his weapon," a police spokesperson told Ynet. "The soldier struggled with the attacker, and suffered a minor stab wound to his head as a result. The suspect then sprinted into a nearby residential building. Soldiers from the Kiryat Gat station arrived on the scene within a number of minutes and reached the suspect when he apparently began opening fire on them. The police returned fire and he was killed. Police believe that the attack has nationalistic motives."

Medics and Paramedics from Magen David Adom are provided initial treatment to and evacuated two people who were lightly injured, and fully conscious.

Ultimately Israel as a nation-state that attempts to be somewhat multicultural to its native minority has completely failed. You simply can't subdue the natives.

This must be the shittiest intifada so far.

But, I think it's way too premature to say there's an intifada going on. Particularly since, it seems, Abbas is finally calling for some calm and has instructed the PA's police to enforce it.

I agree it is premature. We can only hope for third infantana. Their struggle is the struggle of the entire world. Mossad, blow up hotels full of British people, they rob British people's passports and use them to travel while they murder people, they blow up American ships, they are are at war with the entire world, they do not value the lives of anyone not part of their master race (oh sorry "chosen people").

Which British hotels or American ships did the Mossad blow up, and why do you care anyway when you have openly supported the Nazis against Britain in WWII anyway?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_David_Hotel_bombing

The King David Hotel bombing was an attack carried out on Monday July 22, 1946 by the militant Zionist underground organization Irgun on the British administrative headquarters for Palestine, which was housed in the southern wing[1] of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem.[2][3][4] 91 people of various nationalities were killed and 46 were injured.[5]

The hotel was the site of the central offices of the British Mandatory authorities of Palestine, principally the Secretariat of the Government of Palestine and the Headquarters of the British Armed Forces in Palestine and Transjordan.[5][6] The attack initially had the approval of the Haganah (the principal Jewish paramilitary group in Palestine). It was conceived as a response to Operation Agatha (a series of widespread raids, including one on the Jewish Agency, conducted by the British authorities) and was the deadliest directed at the British during the Mandate era (1920–1948).[5][6]

The USS Liberty incident was an attack on a United States Navy technical research ship, USS Liberty, by Israeli Air Force jet fighter aircraft and Israeli Navy motor torpedo boats, on 8 June 1967, during the Six-Day War.[3] The combined air and sea attack killed 34 crew members (naval officers, seamen, two Marines, and one civilian), wounded 171 crew members, and severely damaged the ship.[4] At the time, the ship was in international waters north of the Sinai Peninsula, about 25.5 nmi (29.3 mi; 47.2 km) northwest from the Egyptian city of Arish.[1][5]

Israel apologized for the attack, saying that the USS Liberty had been attacked in error after being mistaken for an Egyptian ship.[6] Both the Israeli and U.S. governments conducted inquiries and issued reports that concluded the attack was a mistake due to Israeli confusion about the ship's identity,[2] though others, including survivors of the attack, have rejected these conclusions and maintain that the attack was deliberate.[7]

In March Britain expelled Mossad's station chief in London, a key foreign posting, after an investigation blamed Israel's secret service for cloning 12 British passports that were found among 26 forged identity documents used by the hit squad that murdered Mahmoud al Mabhouh in January.

David Milliband, then foreign secretary, told MPs that Israel had shown a "profound disregard" for British sovereignty, adding: "The fact that this was done by a country which is a friend, with significant diplomatic, cultural, business and personal ties to the UK, only adds insult to injury."

Mr Pardo, 57, who was deputy director of Mossad for the past three years, is said by a source involved in the planning of the operation to have argued against using British, Irish and Australian passports for the team sent to murder al Mabhouh in his hotel room.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lavon_Affair

The Lavon Affair refers to a failed Israeli covert operation, code named Operation Susannah, conducted in Egypt in the Summer of 1954. As part of the false flag operation,[1] a group of Egyptian Jews were recruited by Israeli military intelligence to plant bombs inside Egyptian, American and British-owned civilian targets, cinemas, libraries and American educational centers. The bombs were timed to detonate several hours after closing time. The attacks were to be blamed on the Muslim Brotherhood, Egyptian Communists, "unspecified malcontents" or "local nationalists" with the aim of creating a climate of sufficient violence and instability to induce the British government to retain its occupying troops in Egypt's Suez Canal zone.[2] The operation caused no casualties, except for operative Philip Natanson, when a bomb he was taking to place in a movie theater ignited prematurely in his pocket; for two members of the cell who committed suicide after being captured; and for two operatives who were tried, convicted and executed by Egypt.

The operation ultimately became known as the Lavon Affair after the Israeli defense minister Pinhas Lavon was forced to resign as a consequence of the incident. Before Lavon's resignation, the incident had been euphemistically referred to in Israel as the "Unfortunate Affair" or "The Bad Business" (Hebrew: העסק הביש‎, HaEsek HaBish). After Israel publicly denied any involvement in the incident for 51 years, the surviving agents were officially honored in 2005 by being awarded certificates of appreciation by Israeli President Moshe Katzav.[3]

No one is so blind as the man who will not see. They are a terrorist state and if any other nation had acted this way it would have been invaded by the west 100 times over by now. However they are allowed to do whatever they want. Almost as if they had some kind of influence over all the major governments in the world.

Not Mossad in either case.

And they acknowledged what they did, what's your point?

As for the Lavon Affair, it eventually led to the downfall of the Israeli government at the time precisely because it was a fiasco.

Not really, in fact Western nations have done the same, even to each other, in the past without triggering any invasions. I'm thinking, for example, of this.

But I don't find it surprising for a Nazi supporter like yourself to be saying some crazy stuff about Jews.

No, it did not. The Mossad didn't bomb the King David Hotel or bomb the USS Liberty.

The Mossad didn't even fucking exist in 1947.

Not only if I like, but it is exactly what you did. Again, not unlike your fellow Nazis who also loved to engage in conspiracy theorizing...

Mossad have existed long before the official founding. The SAS also existed long before there was any open acknowledgment that it was real. That is kind of how secretive groups work .

If the Israelis really want peace they could withdraw from the West Bank. What do they think is going to happen when they continue to build settlements there and displace the native people? Israelis already have enough land, more than even was allotted to them in the 1948 UN partition plan. Resolution 242 must be respected.

Israel could let the Palestinians have a state with full independence and rights but they choose not to.

The Gaza incident of 2014 showed me just how abominable Israeli excesses really can be.

The Arabs will not ever be able to overtake Israel and the Palestinians will never be able to conquer Israel militarily. Even if that did happen there would not be a genocide against Jews as the world would not stand by and allow that to happen. Israel's failure to grant the Palestinians statehood is a major cause of Islamic fundamentalism and is the reason for continued Palestinian extremist actions.

To be honest I think the people of the West Bank should be ashamed for their inaction last year during Israel's raids into the Gaza strip.

There are no guarantees that unilaterally withdrawing from the West Bank, like they did with Gaza and also Lebanon, would actually bring peace. For once, it would not suddenly make Jihadist groups disarm.

And of course, it doesn't really solve the other Palestinian demands, does it? Starting with the so-called return.

Doesn't someone have to declare it?

Ideally the west bank would go to jordan, garza to Egypt and Israel annex jerusalem. Reparations could then be negotiated in cash payments to displaced people.

WOW the amount of nonesense and imginary things in this topic are off the chart.

Imginary as for some folks here think that Israel has the fault for all bad in the wrold right? And when confronted, these guys resort to defensive positions, hence, imaginary stuff.

Secondly, must not forget the cause, or the so called cause for the new "uprisings". They , PA Autorities and Many other inciters (thats what they are), claim the Israel wants to occupy / destory / change the status que in the Temple Mount. Obiously, it's a fiction. Probably you'd go and qoute some right and far right Knesset Members would say something like that, but hey, they don't get to decide.

Netanyau, might seem to the outside world as a Right wing, Heck, even his party might seems to. But you guys don't get Israeli Politics, many of them are thinking of the next elections and how they would get more votes. I hate those kind of beheviours.

And nonesense, because sadly, and I'm not being arogant about it, you have no idea what so ever about this conflict. Your so called knowledge is based on media and some Pro Palestinian Organizations (Which let's say objectively, they pretty much radicalize the whole thing, in my view), you are not there. You don't see what your own eyes, you watch EDITED videos. So before you go on and make offers about things you have no idea about, learn from objective sources who have no interest of influence of you.

I get it's a forum and people are likely to spill what in their minds, but hey, it doesn't have to be based on fiction and lies.

The provocations by Israelis in recent weeks and months makes attacks on Israelis not all that surprising. Actually, I'm surprised they haven't happened sooner, although I think it's premature to consider this the third intifada.

Also, many Palestinians have been attacked and killed over the last few weeks, including today, but danholo is amusingly silent about those.
