Israeli Col. Yisrael Shomer who shot dead a Palestinian teenager, Muhammad Ali-Kosba, who was running away having thrown a stone at a military vehicle was cleared on Sunday by an IDF hearing although the 17 year-old posed no threat. The grounds for the exoneration was that the Israeli officer only meant to wound the boy in the leg and never intended to cause serious harm. The evidence used by Shomer's colleagues was the word of the colonel.

The IDF cannot be accused of failing to investigate themselves nor can anyone doubt what their findings will be.

Anyone can see from the video that the colonel lied when he said that after the youth had thrown the stone he "entered the vehicle"! Judge for yourself.
