Who gives a shit about his similar political views. He can obviously do this job well, so why not pick him?

He's still clearly committed to the liberals politically and actively so, he clearly unsuitable as lacking objectivity for the Job.

In terms of experience on the job alone, he is clearly 100% suitable.... in fact if he was interviewed for the job on the basis of experience alone, he would surely easily get it ahead of anyone else.

Just because he is a Liberal man doesn't mean his obvious experience should be pushed aside.

Clearly there's no law against them hiring people of a particular political persuasion(unless he is selected ahead of an OBVIOUSLY more experienced individual and clear discrimination has occured).
