It seems that Greenpeace has tried to make all their stands rely solely on "eco-friendly" solar panels during Rio+20, but guess what? Too much people, too much power consumption and... power went off. On the left side of the picture you can see greenpeace "activists" starting a fossil-fueled generator which will produce a very heavy carbon footprint and lots of smoke.
Of course we should embrace "sustainable ways" of living and fight pollution, but we should be very careful about extremist ways of doing so, otherwise it may happen to us (and to our countries) what has happened to Greenpeace: a blackout.
