At least 10 people have been killed in a bomb attack on Ataturk airport in Istanbul, Turkey.

Around 40 people were wounded in the blasts at the capital's main international airport, according to Turkish news broadcaster Haberturk.

Officials have said two suspects blew themselves up before passing through the x-ray security checkpoint after shots were fired by police officers to neutralise them.

While reports claim that gunshots were heard in the airport car park, video footage shows people running for cover inside the terminal building.

Ataturk airport is the third busiest European airport after London Heathrow and Paris's Charles De Gaulle.

And a quadrillion people died or were enslaved in Sudan or wherever. The media doesn't pick up anything.

I've seen video of it and read the reports. Two men in bomb vests with AK-type rifles entered the international departures area. One of the men fired his rifle and then self-detonated, the other person also set off his explosives at some point as a Turkish guard tried to rugby tackle him.

11 people are dead so far, 40 injured, is the present figures.

Truly a sad event, and if we approach this issue the same way that the international community has approached Syria, then this is a clear signal that Turkish authorities need to systematically hunt down every single individual responsible for this, wine them and dine them in Geneva, and then negotiate a power sharing agreement in which Erdogan agrees to step down. That political solution is the only credible solution to the crisis which the Turkish regime finds itself somehow inexplicably embroiled in.

We of course should not jump to conclusions and assume their religious beliefs had anything to do with their unfortunate decision to end their lives. Just because they blew themselves up and killed and injured a lot of people doesn't mean they're terrorists, either. We should try to understand why it's the fault of Western society that they did these things instead of blaming the perpetrators and trying to understand their motivations, because as we all know they lack agency. They are, after all, most likely people of color.

I beg to disagree. That kinda is the definition of terrorism.

Welcome to Lebanon.
50-60 attacks so far. With around 400 failed attacked stopped by various security forces.

Though i wonder, ISIS and Nusra fronts and generally Islamists are practically attacking everyone, all around the world. Except Israel.
hmmmmm.

Ooh, wait. Right. Forgot about the shared command they have on borders.

Note: Actually its not Turkey supporting ISIS and arming them. Its some Turks that are doing so.
And nope, this is an inside sources from the biggest arms dealers around. Take it or fuck off and don't bother me(@anyone)
