If that is the case, then I agree that is not good. But becoming wealthy can also be a blessing from God. The wealthy are better able to care for the poor and Jesus said the poor will always be with you and you can help them whenever you wish.
For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you wish you can do good to them; but you do not always have Me.
