JERUSALEM — An Arab Israeli diplomat once deployed abroad to push back against Israel’s critics says he was beaten by security guards at Jerusalem’s central bus station last week in what he believes was a case of ethnic profiling.

Ishmael Khaldi, 49, said he has filed a police complaint and is going public with his experience to bring attention to what he described as racist behaviour in parts of Israeli society.

“This is wrong. This has to stop. This is nothing Israeli,” he said, adding that he remains patriotic and proudly serves his country.
....
Within seconds, he said he was pinned down by three guards, with the angry leader placing his leg on Khaldi’s neck, shoulder and ear. He said the pressure was so strong he feared his neck would break.

“I screamed ‘I can’t breathe. I can’t move,’’ he said. The guards eased up on him after bystanders started screaming, but then a supervisor rushed to the scene and joined the others in holding him down. ...

This is an Israeli of Arab descent who became a diplomat for Israel through his loyalty to the Israeli state, travelling the globe fighting against BDS. But because he is the wrong "race," he recently found himself with a big IDF knee on his neck, as he struggled to breathe.

Weird he's pretending this isn't Israel when it's exactly what Israel is, a racist state.

I guess he figured it out the hard way. Well, didn't figure it out, but you know what I mean...

Here's a Palestinian killed today for being Palestinian, he was shot at a checkpoint - which only Palestinians are forced through to get from A to B - and then left to bleed to death, despite medics attending the scene.

edit: damn, that's Noura Erakat's cousin that was killed today.

An interview with her at the beginning of this year.

Just like Ishmael Khaldi, a lot of people where I am "can't believe" what is happening in their own countries lately either.

Americans "can't believe" that their country elected a casino owner who's in deep with the mob, for example. That their economy is in free fall. That their banksters are looting the USA into failed state status as they "shelter in place." That commercial interests start "riots" in their countries in order to control them through fear, poverty, and social collapse.

But what Americans DO believe, is what they see in commercial media. And they believe what's in media despite its constant lying, and despite what they actually see with their own eyes. Media is like Fentanyl in its ability to create a deadly fake reality.

Ishmael Khaldi was well rewarded for his work defending Israel, and I'm sure people there would tell him: "Thanks for your service!" But they say this because they're programmed to say this, and this is part of the fake reality that mass media (and text) create.

Reality is being put in a choke hold because you're not white enough for Israel.

My favorite quote (6:07) is the boomer male who says he doesn't see Arabs as "inferior" to himself, he sees them as criminals.

I guess he sees himself as a criminal as well, and thus, there in no inferiority between himself and "the other" in his worldview - we're all just competing bands of criminals.

He, skinster, you are posting videos from Telesur! This is Cuban and Nicaraguan network! LOL!
You are running out of ammunition! Must be slim pickings in the world of hate that you are living in, you gotta go to Cuba to get content. LOL! What do they know about Israel, - NOTHING! And neither do you!

You are posting bullsht!

There are many black Jews in Israel. There are black generals in Israel, members of parliament, police officers judges, pilots, navy commanders, special forces, doctors and lawyers, construction workers, teachers and many are quite religious. You see black people everywhere.

Now, - all kinds of racism exists everywhere, - pick a country and you will get racists incidents, - all kinds. What you do not get in Israel specifically is systemic or institutional racism. There is a difference. Look it up and educate yourself what that is, - you simpleton...

Actually, what you get in Israel specifically is a system of racism and apartheid, in the form of: one law that Jews live under, another (military law) where natives are under military rule/occupation in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, and then there's 2 million under blockade and imprisoned in Gaza who have no rights, freedom of movement and about 2 hours of water per day (if they're lucky).

No systemic racism to see here.

Look it up and educate yourself what that is, - you simpleton...

Also, in this video, you get anti-Black racism from Israeli lawmakers where they rile up their supporters to attack Black Jews and non-Jews in Israel.

And more here:

LOL. That's right, - their lucky to get whatever they are getting, because they are getting it for free. Funny, - Palestinian Arabs get a lot for free, - electricity, water and in some cases also gas. Interesting, right?

You keep whining about them being occupied, - sure, you can scream all you want, nobody cares. The Arabs can fix their lives real quick and easy, but they do not want to fix it, they want to stay exactly as they are , - miserable, desolate, poor with no future. Their leadership is waiting out for a better deal from Israelis, - it is laughable, it is stupid, but then again, the Arab Palestinian leadership has not shown to be real intelligent, like ever.

The Arabs are responsible for their own misery! So, - yes, Israel will handle them harsh, Israel will make their lives problematic. Maybe they will wise up one day and realise that it is better to agree with a superpower living next to you instead of fighting the superpower. Talking about pis..ing against the wind here. Not smart.

When will you get it, skinster, that whatever Israel does to Palestinian Arabs is done on purpose in order to force then to see the errors of their ways. So, - all your whining about racism and inequality and Gaza being a prison, wherever, yes we know and it's not gonna change, unless...!

Like I said, their lucky they are dealing with Israelis, not Syrians or Jordanians. Yes, - don't you know, King Hussein had many Palestinian Arabs killed, in the thousands back in 1970 just because they attacked him. Syrians or Jordanians would simply kill all of them without thinking twice about it. THis is Middle East!

Your winnings are misplaced! You should advocate for the Arabs to agree to Israeli demands and all will be well, - simple as that!

Otherwise, Israel will unilateral define its own borders, will annex most of West Bank, will force Palestinian Authority to disband. Israel will then induce Jordan to offer a stewardship over the remaining Palestinian living in Area A and, believe me King Abdullah will do it, - he owes Israel too much. It's happening, - in July the process will begin, let's see how you will cry then...LOL!

Dear Diaspora Jews wondering why Anti-semetism is getting worse. @Metoo just gave you a great explanation.

Defending Apartheid by blaming the victims for it. Lol.

That's what Hitler did to the Jews, he blamed them for all their own problems "in order to force then to see the errors of their ways* and the fact he had to "take action" against them because "they do not want to fix it, they want to stay exactly as they are, miserable, desolate, poor with no future"(Oh and MeToo just paraphrased a German Commander in the classic film Schindler's List, sounds like an almost direct quote!).

A Nazi in pre-war Germany would say "You should advocate for the Jews to agree to Nazi demands and all will be well, - simple as that!".

He should be grateful that he is still alive and stop complaining. My guess is that he heard about the Black guy in the USA and decided to lie about the knee on his neck by the IDF in an attempt to get sympathy.

What are those demands?

Also, you needn't post your racist ramblings every time, even though they give a good insight to a typical Zionist/racist mindset (for those less aware of what type of people we're dealing with).

You say this like someone who's had a knee on *your* neck -- or *did* you?

Would you advise others that getting a cop's knee on the back of your neck is worthy of *gratitude* and that that person should *thank* the cop for still being alive, and should stop complaining?

Goddamn sympathy-mongerers, huh, HS? Always begging cops for a knee to the neck, according to you.

Really? You can't be serious.

Hitler offered nothing to the Jews. As you know, the Jews were rounded up and forced into camps, where most of them died. That is all.

Israel wants an accomodation with Palestinian Arabs. Israel is using harsh tactics to achieve said accommodation.

If Israel were to use Nazis methods, then all Palestinian Arabs would be dead by now. Are they dead? No.

Their birth rate has consistently increased ever since Israel took over West Bank in 1967, their general standard of living has improved dramatically also.

Do you see problems with your reasoning? You should!

You are a victim to Palestinian Arab's rhetoric.

Let me play a scenario for you,- let's say Israel does what you want, - let's 4.5 million Arabs in, gives them right to vote and attempts to settle them. Further allow State of Palestine come into existence as per original UN plan of 1947.

Let's say it happened. Now you are happy, right?

What happens next? Israel's Jews are outvoted, IDF is disbanded, old greavnces lead to the same state of affairs as it were under Turkish administration and tentions rise as it happened in 1929.

We now have clashes and civil war and the Jews would probably be defeated and will have to escape as many did escape Nazi Germany. Finally Israel is renamed and connected to Palestine.

The above is the program minimum of PLO, Hamas and Hesbola.
To quote Abbas, - "no Jew can reside in Palestine."

As for you, what would you say? You say,- oh, well, what can you do. .. and you will go to the next news item on CNN. Life goes on...

GET IT?

Conversely, the Jews win the civil war. We are back to where we are today. You know why? Because You and people like you will scream about poor Palestinians and harsh Israeli treatment of them. Right?

The price of your naive view of reality is thousands, if not tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands dead. In this case mostly Arabs.

It is very unusual for a Cop in the USA to place his knee on anyone's neck. That sort of thing would not have happened to "Big George" either if he had cooperated and gotten into the police squad car as instructed. Who knows what that Arab did, but at least the IDF were easy on him and no harm was done to him. He is alive to tell his distorted story to the world.
